Promoting literacy in children and adults by
buying and donating books for teaching/improving
reading skills.
A portion of your national dues goes to
restoration of the wonderful DAR complex of
buildings at 1776 D Street in Washington.
Children of the American Revolution

At the Virginia State level: VADAR Shrines, such
as Kenmore, Stratford Hall, Woodlawn Plantation
and the Yorktown Customhouse depend on our
donations. The Bell Tower at Capitol Square in
Richmond is the current State Regents
Project and is part of our State funding.
VADAR also awards State Scholarships.
